Daily Prayer Helps

Australian Daily Prayer – An Australian Anglican Daily Prayer Service

  • Our own Andrew Vella put this site together. It’s gold! I’ve downloaded the app, which follows the daily prayer services from the 1995 A Prayer Book for Australia. You could use this daily as an individual, with your spouse, family or even over Skype (or something similar) with your Life Group or friends.

    • Or search for Australian Daily Prayer in your app store

     Everyday Prayers – Scotty Smith

These prayers have been an enormous gift to me over a long time. Scotty Smith knows Jesus so intimately, and knows how our circumstances can be hard and our hearts quite busy. His prayers are wonderful to pray through each day, especially first thing in the morning to give shape to the day ahead.

Blogs

Emma Scrivener

A wonderful, godly woman who is much more than the spouse of Glen Scrivener. Her blog posts are often a breath of fresh air in a foggy world.

Restore Ministries

Excellent posts and videos from a ministry Keiyeng and I have had a lot to do with, and have grown a lot from.

Nancy Guthrie

Nancy and her family have had some horrific life experiences, which you’ll come across if you check out her webpage. In her own words: “I’ve had to dig into God’s Word in search of answers to hard questions about God and how he works, and I find that my readers or listeners usually have the same struggles and questions. And while I share openly the deep hurts in my life, I also like to laugh. I often have people who hear me teach say that I’m very real. That’s what I want to be.” I’ve heard Nancy speak a number of times and I so appreciate her walk with Jesus and her teaching.

Stephen McAlpine

He is the lead pastor of Providence Church Midland, and in his writing dabbles in a number of fields, notably theology and culture. I’ve found Stephen to be culturally  insightful while actively seeking to be Christ-honouring, church-loving and people sensitive.
