Sing the Gospel
Colossians 3:16 says
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
This verse helps us to see God’s vision for Christian singing:
God uses the singing of his people to plant the truth of the gospel – the word of Christ – deep in our hearts, to teach these truths to one another, and to fuel our adoration and thanksgiving of Him.
Join us for a night of singing that aims to do just that!
We will encourage one another as we sing Gospel-rich songs together, spending time reflecting on Scripture and responding together in song.
We will be joined by special guest Michael Morrow who will be sharing with us some of the songs from his upcoming album ‘Nothing In My Hands’.
There will be tea and coffee and snacks provided. This event is free and open to all.
Hope to see you there!

Thank you for giving to St Matthew’s. Our strong preference is for direct deposits, as we receive exactly the amount you give. However, we can also accept gifts via credit card through the button below. Please note however that a fee of 1.9% + 30c apply, such that if you give $100 St Matts receives $97.80. There is an option to ‘cover the fees’ which you can consider (this increases your giving by the fee amount, such that you would give $102.24 and St Matts would receive $100).
